East Texas Riders

Looking for folks in the East TX area to ride sometime. (Not much into riding up to DFW. Too many damn idiots. Will ride way around it though.)

I know you are out there. Yea you on the cherry red w/cobra swepts. You were in Whitehouse the other day at the car show.
Anyways, just looking to travel the back roads when the weather is cooperating...lol.

(alright you smartasses... this is not a craigslist "missed connections" posting. You know who you are, thinking it to yourself)

That's a fair distance to ride for either of us. Its 3 hrs just to ride over to Hemphill (Sabine Nat'l Forrest area).
Maybe we could meet in the general area like Logansport sometime and ride around the lakes.

I'd have no objections to that.

Alright, sounds good then. Get passed all this rain and we'll setup a time. Be cool to finally meet up with another Furian.
Im thinking itll be after the 4th of July before I can commit to anything firm.
Maybe a few others could meet up if they get to reading this.

Bumping this up...

Anybody else want to meet up and ride sometime end of July or August?

Maybe all pack up and go run down to Houston to annoy Scott. Try to make him feel better by telling him at least it aint something like crotch rot or hemorroids. LOL

Alright kiddies...
Im thinking this is the general area to ride. Start in Athens early on a Saturday morning (dont know what time yet). Itll take about 3 +/- hrs to Logansport LA. Then do the big loop and back. Taking into lots of stops etc for us older sore butt riders, the entire thing will probably be 8-9 hr day at least.
Thinking that those who wanna ride from my location that way, can meet up in Athens, get fueled up and for the others who just want to get on the road, meet up in Logonsport at the Whataburger.
Its a fairly long trip and there's not a whole lot of places to stop.
Im open to suggestions, dates etc.
@Night Fury , I know you have a lot on your plate but your input is appreciated.
@Al_Jet , @jstreet , you in?
Anyone else?
Also, some of the riders I know that are not on Fury's would like to go. Anyone got a problem with that?

I'm in if dates work out - I'm a single dad with a 4 yr old. His mom gets to see him 2 weekends a month- that's pretty m my only ride weekends. I'm about 1.5 hrs from Athens already - that will be a long day for me... What's in Logansport? I'm from LA but never been there. Rode a Shadow from BR to Reynosa, MX a few times back in the day. Used to have an apartment across the border... memories...
