Nope. All I did was change the oil and do a visual check myself. Tighten bolts, etc. 600 miles is ridiculous to do all that stuff. Changed to synthetic (Mobil one 10w40 motorcycle synthetic) on 2nd change (4000). Now change about every 6000. I'm a little OCD. Could probably go 8 or 10 with synthetic, but to me every 6000 is good. That's about one riding season for me. Did valves at 5000. Now will do them every 8 - 10. Some guys go right by the book, but I don't like to spend that kind of money when it's not necessary. Just my opinion. Still have my original Dun tires at 13000. Original brake pads also. Will change both next Spring. Good luck and hope you are enjoying that Fury...
I just realized you have a red too! Red is by far the best color! did you just ride the dragon? I made it out there last year and bent up my pipes... had a great time though. The dented and scraped pipes just remind me of the great time that I had!
Thanks for the compliment, but it's about to get much hotter soon! I've got my custom painted tins shipping to me and I should have them by Friday. I can't wait, it should look amazing!! (I'm just excited!!!!!)
Wow, I haven't been on the forum in a while and missed your message. Congratulations on the best chick bike EVER! This forum is awesome for help with modifications. I can tell by your avitar that we have more than a Fury in common! I am also a dog lover and just lost my 10 year old Chinese Shar-pei on 6/4/11 and the house is so empty. Looking to adopt another dog but still grieving to hard for it to be today!
Welcome aboard and thanks for the compliments on my bike. I will be the big 50 this August and just learned to ride in 2009. My Fury is my first bike!
