Mine didn't selfheal :) As soon as that torque bar was replaced, no more worries that something was going to come apart during a ride. Yes, I sure did get the continent wrong, and the nation:confuzed: Thanks for the tip, I'd probably still be going crazy about having a bike defective from the...

I am sorry Senor Gar. It was just plain rudeness on my part to not back check the thread and acknowledge you as my savior. Thanks to you the bike has been perfect. My old dealer gave me some really bad info about the recent 'Defective Relay Recall' , my new dealer had it taken care of in less...

Several thousand miles later and the torque bar/bushings are still doing the job. A huge thanks to the gentleman from Australia who had the solution when my clueless dealer just kept feeding me BS. I've got a new dealer now :) Even though they're 15 miles a away I can trust them and get...

I wonder how many Hondas out there using the same torquebar have the same problem. I hope their dealers are smarter than mine :)

Yes, it was covered under warrant. I think being loose that as time went on it was wearing down faster. Just before they changed it with 1800 miles it was pretty bad. It is so nice not hearing and feeling that problem anymore. And a big thanks to all who told me what the problem probably was...

Sorry for the slow reply. The bushings were in the torque link bar, two of them. The dealer just stuck the new ones in while I waited. Asked him about wear and he said he could see none. I wonder if they were undersized from the factory. It had been getting really noisy lately, this fixed it. It...

Sounds kinda like one thing on mine. Just let out clutch, bike is barely moving then a sound like a piece of metal getting hit. Seemed to me like something was under spring tension, then let loose with the clank.

Thanks for the info. I'll run that by the dealer and see if it was checked. I wondered if anyone else had run into this. I'm still thinking I'll have to get this fixed at another dealer.

I have a 2014 Fury I purchased late last summer. From the start it had a clunk in the drive train when rolled on and of the throttle. The other problem was a 'clank/clap' sound just after the clutch was let out and engaged, this seemed to come from the rear of the engine. Neither happened every...

Foot Peg Thanks, but the diagram shows shifter and break components. I need the info on how to re-assemble the stock front foot pegs and the coil spring that is mounted in them.

I had to remove the front footpegs from my Fury. I can not figure out how the coil springs are to be put back in.
