This is a continuation of the original thread found here: http://www.furyforums.com/forum/honda-fury-sale/95922-2011-honda-fury-complete-part-out.html
I started a new thread so that I can update the post as items sell as per Brad's @WI_Hedgehog suggestion.
CONTINUED....
So I have started compiling a list of parts that will be available as soon as the paperwork is a cleared up with the insurance company. I think I have decided to just post up the list with prices instead of going the auction route... it just seems easier that way. I would prefer a text message or call if you are interested in any parts because it will be quicker and easier for me to get the messages without having to login here and check and clear my inbox. My number is (904) 704-8653 call or text with any questions or ask in this thread and I will answer as quickly as possible. These parts won't be available for at least a few weeks I am guessing. All parts prices are listed and DO NOT include shipping. When you contact me please include your screen name so I know who I am dealing with and your zip code so I can get you a price on shipping. Prices are negotiable but please remember I am currently out of work due to my wreck and I am trying to pay bills and put food on the table during this lengthy recovery process. There are some pics in my albums and if you need any more pics please don't hesitate to ask. So without further ado... here we go.
PayPal friends & family please.... I am not a business, just a guy trying to recoup some of his loss.... Thanks
1. K&N Filter for stock air box $25
5. Big/linked brake upgrade from ABS Fury includes:
3 piston front caliper W/ modified front caliper bracket and pads
2 piston rear caliper W/ caliper bracket and pads
Bigger rear master cylinder for the linked brakes
Proportioning valve for rear
Associated hoses/lines etc. To buy all these parts on bikebandit would cost around $1K
See pics in my albums.
Everything you need to bolt onto your bike EXCEPT the 2 front brake lines because the wrecker driver cut them when he picked up the bike to make it easier to separate the front end. This upgrade makes a huge difference in the way these bikes stop. $500
7.Sold... Thanks Turcoloco Home built "Platinum" bleed feed style air ride W/ "instant up" air tank. Kit includes:
1 dual action 3" X 2" air cylinder W/ custom made lower mounting bracket to attach to the swingarm and the stock upper mount.
1 air tank with a 180/200 psi pressure switch to turn the compressor on/off and all associated fittings, this is not even an option any where on the market.
1 Viair 275c air compressor which is an upgraded (bigger) compressor compared to the Platinum setup.
2 manual air ride toggle valves to lift/lower and increase/decrease rebound. In my opinion these are superior to electronic valves as there is less that can go wrong.
1/4" DOT air line rated at 300psi with a burst rating of 1200psi if my memory serves.
1 electric toggle switch to turn the compressor on/off manually.
1 ignition switch/tool box cover painted lacquer black with the toggle valves installed in the top and the electric toggle mounted in the original location of the ignition switch.
1 gutted tool box that the cover attaches to. This gives you clearance for the valves.
Check valves and associated hardware.
I will include a diagram to show the proper way to plumb everything if needed.
I built and have used this kit for about 2-2.5 years without any issues. The compressor seems a little noisier than before the wreck, it may just be from the bike sitting for the past 2 months but I wanted to mention it... worst case scenario is a new 275c compressor kit for $150.
You can see the new prices for an instant up kit here: AirFX Instant-Up Air Tank for AirFX Air Ride Suspension Systems - FXA-2012 - Phat Performance Parts ($350) and the price for a platinum kit here: https://platinumairsuspension.com/pr...dow-stateline/
($1080)
So new with warranty air ride + instant up kit* that you have to figure out how to fit = ($1430)
I would really like to see this go to someone with some technical/mechanical savy/inclination and I would also like to mention that I will in NO WAY be held responsible or liable for any damages or injury you or your bike may incur do to you purchasing and installing this. I have ridden with it for over 2 years without any issues so I don't foresee any problems but again I am not to blame if anything should happen. This kit is sold as is and will come with everything you need to bolt it up. The compressor has brackets welded onto it that will bolt to the lower transmission mount bolts with the longer bolts that I will include and the air tank is held in place under the bike with a big hose clamp. This setup requires slight clearancing of the frame under the seat to fit the air cylinder, please see my albums for a pic of what I am referring to or ask for more details. I would like to get $750 for this complete setup.
8. Black Rear wheel including brake rotor and Dunlop elite 3 200/50/18 tire with approximately 18k miles on it $300
9. Black Front wheel including brake rotor has a couple scratches near the outer edge with Dunlop elite 3 90/90/21 tire with approximately 6-7k miles. Does not appear to be bent. I can take it and have it checked $350
10. Complete frame without damage but a dead VIN (certificate of destruction) in the state of FL. The rear fender supports have had the modified T-mod done which drops the rear fender to get rid of the dirt bike look of the rear fender. This would be a good starting point for a custom build (cut the neck off and put harley neck cups on and apply for a home built or assembled from parts title). I saw straight frames without titles on eBay for $1500 and bent frames for $6-800 So with that being said shoot me an offer I can't refuse... if not she will go in the scrap pile.
