Picked up my new bike in Prince George, B.C. last week after losing my 77 Rigid Shovel in a relationship breakup...Didn't have time to build a new ride and with being a solid Honda fan with a CRF 450X, a 420 ATV, a couple of generators, water pumps and even a lawn mower I thought I'd give the Black Fury a go- ordered in March...Bike has been good so far with a few hundred Kms, but living in the Northwest we have limited nice weather for riding...My first day was 120 kms in the AM out our one highway and then spend the afternoon in the mtns on my snowmobile checking out conditions for snowboarding- It's a tough life up here...Looking forward to the forecasted good weather this weekend into next week and may do a ride to the next town- only 300km one way.
Only Mods I've done so far are losing the reflectors, losing the passenger seat(since I'm single now), replacing brake bleeder covers with skull valve stem covers, drilling out the license plate for a higher mount and fabricating some silver 44 Magnum casings for air valve stems- kinda on a 44 Magnum theme since it's Spring(My Bear Handgun of choice)
Enjoy I know I am !:D

Looks cold up there!
Yep, I guess it's cooler than the southern part of the continent...Usually lose our snowpack in the valleys in early May, but have snow in the mtns until July that can be played on- sled, ski, snowboard...Glaciers of course year round...Don't get to ride for too long and generally wearing long johns and a touque

Well you know this area...I hate to admit it but I haven't done a long enough ride yet to use a full (i've only been riding out to Mez and back, 132kms)and I've been filling up regularly, so I don't know what # I'll see as of yet...I am planning to ride North towards Cassiar this week- we are expecting temps in the high 20's(not sure what that is in Fahrenheit),but HOT for us...You are correct that Mez Junction is still closed so you have to get petrol in Kitwanga or the village of Kitanow(which has some awesome authentic totem poles) and then I think that you would still not make it to Bell 2 the Fury fuel cap, after that you have a reasonable distances north through the communities with fuel: Iskut, Dease Lake, Good Hope Lake and finally the Alaskan Hwy Junction...Just beware that most of these stations are closed in the Summer at 8PM. Cheers
