Looks nice. Can't wait to see the finished product.
Dude, it's still in prototype. I don't even know how it will turn out. I do know that the first one is going to be stainless and it will be polished.Where does the line start to purchase 😁
Can't wait to see it... but coming from you ..... I know it will be quality .I started a project that I am going to document the progress here on the forum. There has been a lot of talk about wishing the Fury tank was bigger. Here is the start. I have always loved the old 70s coffin tank, but love the lines of the Fury tank also. I'm attempting to combine the two styles into a 5 Gallon version. Here is the first stage. My intention is a bolt on swap with no mods needed and a flush mount pop up cap. Give me some time to work out the frame fitment and mounts.Bad ass!! Can I get one shaped like a coffin?![]()
5 gal would be awesome!Dude, it's still in prototype. I don't even know how it will turn out. I do know that the first one is going to be stainless and it will be polished.
I don't know about me crashing but if a super shiny gas tank would cause chaos for the Cafe Latte sipping, organic cookie munching, Prius and Tesla driving greenies I could be interested in that.5 gal would be awesome!
I will say, the shiny of polished stainless could be a safety hazard.. @macxpert have to have it, and ultimately will crash because it'll shine that aussie upside-down sun right into his eyes while he tries to make a right-hand turn through 5 lanes of oncoming greenie traffic... Everyone in a 500 meter (look at me using wonky measurement units) radius will see starlight blinding them, brake hard in panic and turn left (the natural state of OZ'ers), and the entire intersection will become the center of all chaos in the universe!
LOL!
But aside from the potential down-under carnage, I am super excited to see how this progresses!!! Tank options for the Fury are currently limited..
Certainly never HOPING you to lay it down.. sorry if it was too dark on the humor side. I would never directly wish harm on a fellow member,.. just saying I know your proclivity to shiny so I doubt you can resist it, and I've seen the gleam off my own convex surfaced pearl white tank in Texas summer sun. It's bright, and sometimes retinally painful. I took that, multiplied it by 10,000 (the poisonous difference factor of TX to OZ) and figured that even though you're a well seasoned rider, that's flat too much for any human eyes. I probably would go gleam-blind pulling it out of the garage!I don't know about me crashing but if a super shiny gas tank would cause chaos for the Cafe Latte sipping, organic cookie munching, Prius and Tesla driving greenies I could be interested in that.
I got the joke so no worries there. Your right about the sun down under it's way worse than TX, that's why we have the highest rate of skin cancer in the world.Certainly never HOPING you to lay it down.. sorry if it was too dark on the humor side. I wonder if that piece of abstract art ever sold and what the price tag was if it did.
I think so.....
