For the low price of $1,899.00 you too can have hidden controls :D Add another $200 if you want LED's on your levers ;)

Very true. For the cost of exhaust, intake, forward controls, grips, extras, and those hidden wires you could buy a Big Dog Chopper. My buddy just got a new one out the door for $21,000. Kinda made me jealous until his marked it's territory in the driveway and hasn't stopped leaking yet.

Not saying I am ready to throw down that much yet.

I just want to know if it is an option. The great thing about Hondas is you know they will have very few issues, will run forever, and are realtively comfortable rides. You can customize a Honda to look better. You can't make some of those customs run like a Honda or be as comfortable a ride.

If your slinging around the money it cost for those hidden controls you should just buy a high end custom bike instead of a Fury.
Actually, this is a valid point. I'm adding the cost of everything I would like to add to my Fury, and if you get the best stuff, it can
get pricey in a hurry. But I really think he means "low end" custom bike.
I'll stick to my Fury, and throw money at it. I have a co-worker who owns a Big Dog, and I haven't seen it at work once this year. I asked him how come he doesn't ride it more often, and he says it beats him up every time he rides.

Probably not, that one uses a hyd clutch, hooking up a clutch cable would be difficult, unless you went w/ a suicide clutch hand shift kinda setup. and can't tell but they may just use a pull type throttle.
You might check on the VTXOA.COM board and see if anyone makes them for the VTX 1300, they would work on the Fury, cept you'll loose the instruments.

Saw some VTX pics, but I think they were 1800

I saw some pics of people who set up their VTX with these so I would think it would work on the Fury. I sent them an email, so I will update once I get more info. Not the cheapest mod I know, but always good to see the options.
