You need to be careful with adjustable levers though. Think about it for a minute. The entire clutch system is mechanical. There is a "window" of engagement for releasing the clutch pack and engaging it. Adjusting the cables only opens or closes this window. Adjustable levers, although you may think are great for different hands, also changes the engagement or disengagement point relative to the bars.

My point: if you adjust the lever in because you have small hands and pull to the bar, there's potential you're not fully disengaging the clutch since it's closer to the bar, potentially not allowing it to fully disengage. Which means you'll always be slipping it and burn through the clutch quick. Or worse, you'll pull the clutch lever to the bar and the bike will still creep forward.

It's a combination of being able to feel and know when your clutch is fully engaged and disengaged then making your adjustments within that window. Your adding another adjustment to the system, so now you have to combine the cable adjustment with the lever adjustment to still be in the mechanical window (which never changes really).

So, understand this before you just slap on adjustable levers because you have smaller hands

I would think different shaped levers would be ok cause you wouldn't change the wire/cable mechanical function
Some of them work, some don't. It depends on lever geometry, cable attachment point, or any thing else mechanical in the system (like a clutch pull relief bracket).

I have adjustable levers. But I can't use them on 2 of the settings closest to the bar because of the reasons mentioned above. I have a Barnett clutch as well. All of these are factors on how the initial setup via the cable is achieved. You throw adjustable levers on top of that, you're likely going to face issues with some of the positions (won't be usable) and will have to do more fine tuning then most are comfortable with.

I can't explain it any better in words. A person needs to look at the FSM as well as understand how the clutch pack on these bikes work. It'll make more sense then.

My comment is only a PSA about what can happen if you add adjustable levers if said person doesn't know what it's doing to the system. The last thing you want is someone slapping them on there, going for a ride, pulling the clutch lever in at a red light and the bike keeps going...
