Anarchist Customs Fury build

4008 Views 70 Replies 17 Participants Last post by  todds87ss
Figured I start a new post to chronicle my adventures of building this awesome bike. I was fortunate enough to get a steal of a price ($2500) on a 2014 with a little over 7000 miles. Of course, at that price, it needs a few things. I love customizing tho and even brand my bikes with my logo and moniker of Anarchist Customs. So I'll try to post pics as I go and this, fortunately, should be a rather quick build. Already a good portion underway!!! Hope yall enjoy

So to catch yall up, here is the bike as purchased. Was low speed dropped (by my estimation and limited damage visible) so even though it's hard to see the right peg is missing, rear brake pedal bent facing backwards, air cleaner cover road rashed, pipes a bit too, front brake handle bent, radiator also a bit damaged. All those are being replaced plus extra stuff cuz, let's face it, I just love doing this stuff!

Went with a teal/turquoise base and a teal flake top coat (although pics look light blue I suspect from the shine of the flake). Tail light im mounting on the swing arm had removable mesh, so why not paint it to match, lol. Painting the turn signals I went with atm so no pics yet. Staring on the forks and front rim tomorrow

Also cut my spring since I'm strapped for cash at the moment after dumping everything into making this bike even more of a head turner than it already is.

Me too, just need to wet sand and buff the clear coat and start running the lights. Also gonna do the plugs while it's all apart.

sick levers! who made them?
China most likely.
I have a set as well.
The "throw" (how close they are to the bar) is adjustable. But they have the issue of what I mentioned in your other thread when you bring the lever too close. The clutch won't fully disengage. When combined with Glen's clutch pull relief bracket the window for fully released and engaged is pretty small.

For reference I bent a Honda OEM lever on a dropped bike from "bent with a twist" back to straight--they're excellent quality levers.

BUT, I also replaced them with adjustable levers that flip up when the bike is dropped, then filed the road-rash out of the balls when the owner dropped the bike several more times... 😕

thanks, I am going to install the clutch pull releif this week. I did notice even stock, the release area is small and far out

So, decided to throw my plate mount together and mock it up today... didn't come with the tail light mount but I had one laying around for another project so I drilled a couple holes and threw it on there. Think im gonna be very happy with this set up!

So, as it sits now, front tire is off and I'm starting on the forks. Just ran out of turquoise so I'm gonna get to prepping the rim. Here's a few pics for the update...

So, had to put alot of thought in the windscreen. Wanted to keep it but couldn't decide on white with splatter or turquoise... so I did both. 😁
