Anarchist Customs Fury build

Figured I start a new post to chronicle my adventures of building this awesome bike. I was fortunate enough to get a steal of a price ($2500) on a 2014 with a little over 7000 miles. Of course, at that price, it needs a few things. I love customizing tho and even brand my bikes with my logo and moniker of Anarchist Customs. So I'll try to post pics as I go and this, fortunately, should be a rather quick build. Already a good portion underway!!! Hope yall enjoy

Barring last minute additions, painting should be pretty much complete. Elected not to paint the rear rim yet because I want to make sure the paint will hold up to the temp of a hot rim. Plus, when I get my 240, I can paint it then cuz im down to only one can of 2 stage clear left. Few spots on the frame and such need a touch up and I still have yet to do the calipers but main paint work is finished. Just need to clear coat these last pieces.

Next I'll get the tire back together and reinstalled. Then pull the radiator, replace and flush it, do the plugs, oil change and block off plates/plug. Then it's probably on to getting the driving lights hooked up (only the headlight is wired rn) and rerouting the brake/tail light wiring. Gonna install my diode and sequential signals and I ordered some grips. Probably wire up most of the light kit and put it all back together as I go.

I'm excited to get it together because unlike all of you, I have only about 15-20 minutes of experience riding this beautiful machine. Thats gonna change very soon!

I'm just gonna say this: Remember to extend the kickstand fully each and every time before resting the bike on it. 😬

I know, I know, I've been slackin..slacking... pulled the radiator today and low and behold, I need a damn cooling fan. Just gonna go with a universal one off the Amazon and keep my eye on it. I did get some switches for the driving lights and underglow so since I'm stuck waiting on the fan I'm gonna start on all the other stuff right now. Should be together soon. I was hoping today, but not looking promising now...

So, finished up the wiring and button for the driving lights today. Installed the new cooling fan on the radiator and installed that last night. Hope I got all the air out when I put the tank on and fired it up for the first time since tearing it down! Cooling fan seemed to be sufficient, turn on about 10 mins into idle (it was about 105° outside) and I never saw any "over temp " light come on after about 10 mins of it running. Not sure if that's good or bad but about to make another post about that. Hoping to have it on the road tomorrow or Friday once the turn signal diodes come in tomorrow. Super excited!

So, in the piecing back together phase now. Not much left. Should have taken more pics to show progress but I was in the zone so all I have is these...

Thank you, color options limited paint choices but I think that turquoise pops like hell against the red.

It's Turquoise paint with a teal flake top coat. Also, the best clear coat I've ever used.

So, as anticipated, ended up doing more painting. Also located some old but still in good shape VW exhaust tips that are the perfect size. So bye bye Cobra slip ons and hell straight pipes. Was looking and thought it could use more white. So brought the engine head covers in and painted em up. White with the red and turquoise splatter with just a touch of teal flake. Workin on getting mounting completely figured out to remove the exhaust mounting arm and get this puppy on the roads. Almost there and can't wait!
