Here are some quick pics on our Sumo-x Fury we just get finished.

Mods so far are:

Sumo-X 260 fat tire kit, chrome.
Chrome front wheel.
LaM Seatpan, modified and covered by MTL Custom
LaM Spike Air intake
LaM Chrome Air intake adapter
LaM 1" Fork extenders
LaM Lowering kit
Küryakyn Engine Case Cover
Küryakyn ISO Grips
Canella risers
Cobra pipes
Powercommander PC-V
Raw Design Sidemount
Kellermann Rhombus DF led turnsignals, incl rear and brake light.
Kellermann Rhombus led turnsignals
MTL Custom Front turn signal bracket
MTL Custom ABS brake line kit
Arlen Ness mirrors.

We are also going to mount Accutronix Diamond chrome forward controls.

As soon as the weather is getting better we are going to have a photo shooting outside and get some better pics for you....

So when you say you had to mod the pan to fit what did you need to do? I noticed you cut some off the back of it. Is that all??

Yes, we cut about 5-6" in the rear, then it fit perfect after a little grinding...
No problem at all!

Polished so far... our customer will probably chrome it in the winter.

Yes, I think so!
Our customer wanted a very small and thin chopper seat matching the bike and he is now 100% happy for it.

Yes, Metz 260/40-18 fits perfect without any problems!

painted covers will not be affected by the stock path of pipes. if you get pipes that travel next to the covers-that could be a problem.

for rattle can paint:
make sure you use a primer-final paint-clear coat that are matched.
in other words, use enamel or acrylic types for all three.
don't paint if the humidity is high.
i tried one side with a gloss paint, no clear.
the other side with clear.
frankly, i got a better match w/o the clear.

also, and i think our paint experts can comment on this far better than i; you don't need a glossy paint if you're going to clear coat glossy.

that's my two shillings worth of nonsense. hope it helps.

Did you fill in the bolt holes for the seat or does the L&M seat pan still cover them after modifying ?
