[Low and Mean]

We are getting a white like spotted coating all over the bike. To us it looks like antifreeze dried up. Anyone else seeing this?

I have something similiar to that on the shaft drive and other supports around the rear tire. Mine is road grime I believe. Are you talking about having this white coating on the engine, covers, etc..?

One picture of these white spots and their location would be worth more than 1000 guesses !

My fury also had a slight coolant leak. I just had to tighten the clamps on the hose coming off the back of the motor. My father said he had to tighten them on his 06 vtx also. The dealer told me almost all the 1300 and 1800 have that issue.

also had coolant leak...had a loose hose clamp....tightened it up and no more leaks.

the rad hose on front of motor was leaking on my VTX when I got it new years ago.Just tightend up all the clamps while I was at it. 3 years later still no more problems.

It may be a good idea for all the new Fury owners to do a spot check to see if there are others that need a little tightening before the antifreeze smell or leak is apparent.

I've had to tighten mine up on my water cooled VTX a couple of times. With a little over 60,000 miles on it now, I think it may be time to change the hose and/or tighten it up again because I've seen that whitish looking stain around the clamp where it goes to the radiator last week. It may have washed off , I'll have to look and I'm not low on fluids but it could have been that I was riding it hard a couple of weeks ago.

Low and Mean, Have you found the source of your leak? Let us know where it is, so we can check also. Mine's ok, but I only have 20miles so far.

I know! Just picked it up last night and had to go into work today. Was soo tempted to call in.
