Looks like they might be gone to bike week till the 10th??
They do not have a TLS/SSL (Secured Socket Layer) e-commerce connection. Encryption basicallySo, I am on the Metricfats website about to drop some dough. When I go to enter my credit card information I notice there is not a lock on my browser. So I was like is this a secure site? So, I clicked their email address to ask them, but they haven't gotten back with me yet. I was wondering if anyone else has noticed it?
I meet some of the Metricfats cats at Delmarva Bike week (I still got their card), so I went so far as to call them to find out, but no one answered the sales line. Somebody let me know something...?
No need to even mention our name once. Just give me a call or drop an email to me directly at the address that's always in my signature. I welcome constructive criticism and comments. It's a big help in making sure we take care of you guys (& gals). This definitely needs to be done RAW DESIGNS... Either adapt the website to include a secure web page for purchasing or hire somebody to do it for you... Whoever designed that page, needs to read the book for HTML or XHTML coding and do it right the first time.
This is why I have not purchased anything from them since I purchased the swing arm cover. RAW Designs do sell there stuff on other websites, it's just easier to go dealer direct. If any of you would like another website or other websites to shop at, I will try and help you track down another website to deal with or try to give you alternatives. (Figure if I mention their name enough in a post, they will eventually see this post...)
Thanks Dude. I say that all the time, but this time it seems strangley more appropriateYeah, all I wanted was an explanation, and that seems to work. I'll either give you a email or call.
