I know the options (210, 240 with wider wheel, and 250 Sumo) have been discussed to death, but anyone installed the 210 Metz or completed the wider wheel with 240 yet and have feedback?

I was thinking of doing the 240 extension that L&M came up with here soon... then I had my gf just mention to me about buying some camping gear soon... lol, so I guess we will see

Lol... shoosh... she might hear you then really break out the whip  Hmmm, brb :D
I wanna know if the 240 rubs?
Do you think the tire would flex 1/4 or 1/8 inch and rub?
Can you lower the shock all the way and not rub?
It will rub...

The 240 will rub when it heats up... especially if you have a passenger... even with the shock adjusted. It looks like it will clear and will if your 175lbs or less and dont drive it for long periods of continous riden'... If you want the wide tire do it right... sumoX kit is not bad for the money sence it comes with everything! If you dont have the balls (skill) into hacking up a new bike though... sumoX is not for your do-it-your-selfer.

I speak from experience... I've done 2 sumoX kits. Will bedoing my personal after summer... The old lady put a stop o my fury accessory spending. Time to spend money on her Phantom she said. I know... Whip crackin'... but i have to sleep with her... and want to wake up the next morning! lol!
I read ALL of the prior posts last year on this and I am doing the Sumo X as well after this season.
Best mod going if you have the $$$'s. Only takes a little more to go First Class.

The 240 on the stock rim is equivalent to a 210. It bulges over the tire and can be unsafe
the 240 on a stock rim will ride on the center and when in a corner or curve it does not ride on the proper part on the tire, whitch can be dangerous.just be careful.
How much does the SumoX kit run for??? (sorry new to the forum) Also, so the bike doesnt rub the back tire with the SumoX Kit or it does on long rides? And how about with a passanger?

Price should be between $500-$700 depending on shop rates. My shop charges $75 per hour.

Cost will depend on your options, License plate holder, lights, paint etc. Check out Sumo-x.com
