It is the beginning of April 2010 and that means it's time for photo submissions for a chance at claiming the April Fury of the Month title!

Please submit your pictures for the April Fury of the Month. Limit of 5 pictures will be allowed, since I can only fit 5 pictures for each nominee.

Also, I can only take the first 10 self nominies since the voting thread only allows 10 selections to vote on!

Photo submissions will end 17 April.

On 18 April a voting thread will be opened for the participants which will last one week for the Fury community to vote on.

26 April the April 2010 Fury of the Month will be announced!

Good Luck!

Fury in progress...

OK.

In keeping with the name of the bike, I had it painted with 'FURY' in mind. The base color is burgundy and I wanted that to remain on the frame. The color radiates outward to black and in the black I have dragons, skulls, etc. on my tank and fender.
Also have the Sumo X rear tire kit, a new air filter and the Irate grill.
Once I get new pegs, turn signals, take the reflectors off and chrome my front tire, etc. I'm good to go.
For now, here's hoping I win April.

Hope you all like what I've done so far. I welcome recommendations.

my furious Fury

Hey I really appreciate the compliments. As far as the artwork goes, the pics don't do it justice. In the flames on the fenders, there are screaming skulls and faces. The guy did a phenomenal job and it turned out exactly like what my vision was for it.

I like the fat tire kit too. That's my next winter plan along with my paint work. I am waiting to see if I can get the exact same rear RC component wheel with the SumoX kit because I'm not changing front plus both matching rotors :) Very very good looking bike.

Like after this month have a calendar made of all the past winners from April 09 to April 2010 but of course have the calendar dates 2010 and 2011?

The vertical shot looks sweet man, but now I really see a flaw with the original handle bars, i bet baby ape hangers would really do the fury justice, any oppinions on that or can you see what I mean about the stock handle bars not doing justice to the awesome paint job?

I guess I will post mine then. I was going to wait until next month because I'm adding a custom stitched seat but if I have a chance to be in a calendar then here goes...

In order of what got done first to last:

• Removed all factory decals and reflectors.
• Demons Cycle mirrors.
• Kuryakyn turn signal bezels with smoked lenses.
• ShayneM109R side mount bracket with New Orleans Saints logo. WHO DAT!!:D
• Hyper white/blue LED light under rear fender shining down on license plate.
• Hyper white/blue front headlight.
• Morton Infernos exhaust pipes.
• Custom built rear fender trim piece designed, CNC routed, polished and installed by myself.
• XOPRODOX Gunner style grips, pegs and toe pegs (modified to fit factory arms).
• Custom vinyl graphics on tank, front and rear fenders and side panels designed, printed, UV laminated and installed by myself. Tank and fender graphics are real blue flames, snake skin, skulls and other airbrushed effects with traditional flame pin stripes with gradient. Side panels are etched glass on chrome. Finally a wrapped rear tail light in perforated pms color matched vinyl to get rid of the red and still lets the lights shine through.

I also have a custom stitched leather seat coming as well that should be on soon. I feel my bike is pretty unique with the custom fender piece that I know nobody else has and of course the vinyl graphics that look like a custom paint job.

Here's the pics:
