Does anyone know where an Aviator Style helmet can be found? That's the one with dual visors and has the military type design...

this is a half shell helmet so might not exactly be what you want......i just purchased this a while back and its pretty cool looking. Hope it helps. I would just search around for the Vcan Aviator maybe you can find one with a shield!!!

I believe if you look up some posts by board member Stan he has one that he purchased from Europe I believe.

Scooter shops, (local vespa dealer) jet helmets are the european scooter helmet of choice.

I've been looking for the Jose Consaco had on that show of his. It was a full face and the shield droped down from the inside of the helmet.

Check out my avitar. If this is what you are looking for I will get the information from my other computer and post it. It was right at $350 shipped from Europe. I have not received it yet, so no personal knowledge of comfort. It has the dual visors.

My Aviator helmet showed up today.

Went on my first ride with the helmet and it is great. It gets as many looks as does the bike. Not to heavy and appears to have all the padding needed to keep your noodles in the pot.

I was a little worried about the half visors catching the wind but no indication that it is going to be a problem.

First impression: I like it!

It's like a normal 3/4 helmet. It has no vents so there is no movement of air through the helmet. It's not bad, I am used to wearing a helmet without ventilation. If you are used to ventilation, it may not be your style.
