I have heard that the Avon is comparable to the Metzler... Might be going for this one since it is time to change out... Have had a great run with my Metz for over 14k miles... Have been looking for prices... Where did you get yours? Found it for $154 with free shipping at helmetheadcycle.com Shoot out a pic once you get it... most likely ordering after the 15th... Lates

i have a friend that was running avons and couldnt get 8000 out of them .went thru 5-6 at diff pressures and didnt change anything.

as far as mileage goes i got 8k from the stocker elite 3 , as well
put 200 miles on this one already , handles great
