My Fury is still completely stock and i am getting a bit of backfire at deceleration. I wasn't sure if this was normal. only 140 miles on it right now. also i thought my speedometer was buzzing but the sound is coming from the engine somewhere. only does this vibration at medium rpm (probably can't hear it at the higher)

i just don't want to go back to the dealer and them charge me for something lame. want to be educated before going into it, or maybe its something i can fix myself.

A "bit of backfire and popping" is actually normal, they all do it due to the pair valve, usually you can't hear it with stock pipes, it gets bad w/aftermarket pipes. With only 140 miles on it, you may still have some preservatives in the tank, takes a few tankfuls to flush it all out, if it concerns you it should go back to the dealer, it is under warranty, so there shouldn't be any charge.

ah ok, thanks man. my last bike was a Shadow Aero 750 and i never heard any popping so i just wanted to check.

On a VTX that I have, (When it was new) I found that the Header bolts were loose and had to be retorqued. It's simple to check
