Finally got aroung to installing the Fuggin Fuel Controller today. Bought it a few months ago.

Installed according to Fuggin's directions to the T (not rocket science here). Got the blinking green & red LEDs indicating improper injector reading. Hooked the connectors up every way possible with the same outcome every time. At this point I can only assume its a bad unit. Going to call them Monday morning.

Anyone had problems like this hooking up the Fuggin Fuel Controller?

Sorry to hear that... Had not problem with mine other than the fact that it was not tested or set for the Morton Inferno's... but runs good. Have to still put on the after market intake. The guys at Fuggin are good and I dont think you will have a issue with the call.

Fugg It

You'll have no problem getting a new one sent to you.
You guys in the Midwest better batten down the hatches; there's a storm comin' through here (Reno area) now that is really kick-ass, and it's heading your direction. Bad news is, it's supposed to last about a week! Time to head for the shop and tear things apart!

Cheers

Fuggin will take care of you I'm sure.

5 out of the next 6 days they are calling for freezing rain and snow! Our daytime temps have been in the 20-30's, now we have a warming trend coming thru that is going to make things messy. I would rather it stay cold and snow than have freezing rain.

There is no way I had it wired incorrectly. I tried it every way possible with the same result every time.
Well I would say you got a bad one... like I said before just call them and they will take care of ya... they are great guys and hope to meet up with them sometime this summer while I go for a long ride to Pheonix to have them set my controller to my pipes... unless they are willing to come out to me... LOL

The fix to the fuggin efi fuel controller

To All,
The problem that Mobe was having is starting the bike. Once you have the controller plugged into the injectors and grounded, you need to start the bike. The controller doesn’t start working until the ECU is sending a signal to the injectors. The signal from ECU is interpreted by the controller and fuel adjustments are made. But the bike must be running to make this all happen. This is basically for all types of motorcycle fuel controllers.

If you have any questions or problems with any of our products, please do not hastate to call. We are more than happy to help.

YES!, I am a dumbass, and Doug set me straight.

I was just turning the key on to give it power, but was not firing up the motor. My thought was that if the controller was not working properly then the injectors wouldn't either and therefore not fire. Not the case. My buddy who was with me when I installed it even asked me if we should try firing it up. I said no. I have since apologized to him as well.

Thanks Doug!

Cool that you got it sorted..
Keep an eye on your pipes for coloring...You may need to adjust it.
You should notice the cold start gone, and the acceleration from a start excellent..
