Just dropped in to say hello and to share some pictures of the bike. I have different pipes on now and a set of Big Dog Coyote billet wheels sitting on my table waiting to be installed. I'll shoot some pictures after the wheel installation.

The Big Dog is treating me well. No problems whatsoever.

I hope everyone is enjoying their Fury. My brother-in-law definitely enjoys his Matte Silver Fury.

Nice bike Brandon!! Can't wait to get my Mastiff. Prepare yourself for a nasty message or two from our members. Some are completely against talking about any other brand on here, even if you have owned a Fury and can give some realistic comparisons.

I don't man if I didn't take a closer look I would have sworn it was the Fury with a lot of mods!! Wouldn't be able to tell the difference if I saw it passing by. It is a great looking ride but it might have been a lot easier on you and the wallet to just pick up the Fury instead.

Looks wise yes, but he does have some serious horse power difference that you might have to consider. Great looking bike. It does look very similar to the Fury. Can't wait to see yours chopped and to how the ride is compared to the Fury.

Nice looking bike. How does it ride? I've heard that they ride a bit rough.
Hi Steveo,

The ride is pretty much identical to the Fury I owned. They have similar geometry. You do notice at idle there is a big v-twin rumbling below you. When I transitioned from the Fury to the Big Dog I thought there was going to be a big difference. The Fury is smooth at idle and on noisy streets I could barely tell it was still running with stock exhaust. Because the Big Dog engine is not rubber mounted you get some vibration in the handle bars most noticable at idle but to me it feels great.

Thanks man. I know you are going to love the Mastiff.

Those types of people can shove off. I am no brand loyalist. I enjoy motorcycles of all types.

I owned a Blue Fury. I liked it. It wasn't EXACTLY what I was looking for but it was a very nice bike. With the modifications I wanted done to the Fury I would have actually spent more than I did for the Big Dog. It's no secret, I payed 18,900 for the Big Dog brand new with a full factory warranty. I challenge anybody to get a Fury to the same specs for that price. However, I'm not advocating that the Big Dog is a better purchase for anybody other than myself. I would have spent thousands of dollars in modifications to get it where I wanted it. That may be fine for some but that is actually much less wife friendly for me than just buying the bike I want with MOST of the stuff I want included.

Yeah, I'd probably prefer a Big Dog over my Fury, but I am financially unable to afford one at the moment. I'll just have to enjoy my Fury until I pay off some debt. Then maybe I'll find a Dog I can buy. Until then, I'll be ridin' plastic. Hope you enjoy your new bike.

HUH!

Feeling like I got stuck with a over priced Honda now after looming at the Big Dog! A 250 tire kit alone would put me close to what you got the Big Dog for. Chrome motor, chrome wheels, huge back tire, the real deal. Guess I will go crawl in my hole now.

They're all over priced. I don't care if it's a Harley, Honda, Bid Dog, or whatever. If it's fun to ride and a pleasure to look at, you're gonna' pay too damn much for it. No matter what, I will still love riding my Honda, but even if I had a Big Dog, there'd be a better one out there that I would want. If I had a true custom built bike put together from the ground up just the way I wanted, I would probably see something else out there that I wanted instead. I just wonder what all of them have against a shaft drive? That alone may cause me to stay with a Honda product forever.

Dude, no reason to ever feel bad about the Fury!! I still love my Fury!! The BD is just for me, no passengers. Keeping my Fury and will still ride it.

Great points! What's the rear tire size on that one and what is the enginee size? Thanks

Brandon- sweet bike man! I just bought a black 2010 Street Glide yesterday, thought about the red but opted for black. I'm keeping my Black Fury, just love the ride too much. Everyone has their own personal choices, when I win the lottery I'm getting a BD too. ride on, ride safe.

That's an incredible price for that ride and you already get what most people are customizing their Fury's with. Very similar looking - congratulations!
Me ... I will stick with a Honda any day, serious reliability. The depreciation of the BigDogs are insane. That Coyote will be 12K in two years.
