Bought some Kuryaken Hand Grips

Well I felt the only 2 things i really needed to finish the bike off were a set of hand grips, and find something to cover the rear diff so i went with Kury prt # 6240 , and got a throttle boss to add with them.Did pick up my fork cap covers too, I had the Dealer call them and ask if they were developing a cover for the rear diff like the did for the VTX along with the swing arm, The gentlemen spoke to the parts guys said a cover is in the works but no timeline, they are trying to modify the design that was made for the VTX to fit the fury, anyhow tommorrow Ill work on getting the reflectors off. They are getting annoying now see especially the fork ones now stand out more then ever since i pulled the amber lens covers on my signals. Did get 50 miles on her today. Hope everyone had a nice start to the week. :D

Finish the bike off? You don't actually believe that you're done spending money on modifications, do you? Who are you tryin' to kid here, Bill? You're never finished with the bike. Finish the bike off.....yeah, right....:D Yeah, I've done three or four mods on my bike, but I'm done. That's all I really wanted to do. I bought some foot pegs and I didn't even really want them. I saw some Zombie Pegs on someone else's bike on here and it didn't take me long to order them and install them. I didn't even shop around for some pegs that I might like better. I just bought the damn things.:D Hey, speaking of, you need some new pegs for your bike, don't ya', Bill? Someone on here post a pic of those Zombie Pegs for Bill.....:D

lol steve,,,for now,,maybe in a year ,,but seriously my only main agenda for the bike is those 2 things,,anything more is too much to me,,lmao,,I was looking at the zombie pegs,,not my thing, Kury had some nice pegs i was looking at today that had some heal pads that looked like a switch blade,,I like the idea of having a place to rest the heal and the sole of the boot,,

That's why I got the zomies. They have more surface area. I'm not into the skull thing, but I liked the width and style in spite of the skull. Besides, it's removable.;)

Bill, You are far from done I can guarantee you that. You might be done for this month but you are never done. I wish I had a nickle for every time I said I was done then I would have enough money to complete my intake. You made a good choice on those grips and you gonna like them. You are right about the switchblade pegs and having a place for your heel to rest. I have them on mine and I now wonder how I ever rode without them know. I'll try and do anything for the slightest added riding comfort.

Not going off on you Steveo, you have me thinking today though... Which is good cause many people can't get me going...

Here's my statement:

Ya know, surprisingly, I was talking to Tony about this about 2 months ago when I stayed at his house for a bike ride that we did... Told him, this is probably the one bike that there is out there that... when you're done, you're done... I wouldn't be surprised if WildBill was actually done. Everybody has a thought in there head on how this bike is going to look. Soooo, considering that 97% of us aren't going to add bags, highway bars and other stuff that would normally be associated with a typical cruiser, he might be almost (relatively speaking of course) done.... I know I have an image in my head... I only have a few more pieces left towards my puzzle and it hasn't truly cost me an arm and a leg to get there... So, somebody that say has only spent 2k to get where they are going, could be done? Possibly, just saying as I think Tony_fury felt the same way... now he is just enjoying the ride, instead of building up on it... Hey Tony, how was that ride this weekend anyways?

Thanks Red, glad somebody sees my vision, lol i mean,,I spent more on this bike then i did on any other bike ive owned, there really isnt much more that I want to do to change the overall look ,,and as far as a bag I found an old rear fender back from my 1st 750 that has a rubber bottom so it doesnt scratch paint so i can atleast put some items in there. I will say this,,I have had the bike 4 weeks come friday, and have rode almost 100 miles a week on it, only day i havent rode in past week was yesterday, just didnt feel like it. I think putting those Kury chrome bevels and smoked lenses on really made the bike more appealing. But thanks:D

I'm glad I could inspire you and get your brain juices flowing.:D As for me, I have no idea what I want to end up with as far as this bike goes. I have absolutely no picture in my head. I thought at first all I wanted to do was just change the exhaust and I'd be happy. It hasn't ended up that way. ;) I know Bill's bike had a lot done to it, before he even bought it, so maybe he has arrived at his picture of perfection. I was just going off of how I've seen others on this forum act, as well as myself, when someone shows pics of how they've modified their bike and we see something that maybe we hadn't seen before and we think, "Yeah, that would look good on my bike.":D

Didn't have time to read this thread but thought I would post anyway about Kury. Bitch at me if you want.

Kuryakyn now has the Hypercharger for the Fury with no adapter needed!!

This may be somewhere in the thread but I wanted to post last night.

Not enough time.
