I am extremely pumped about this new bike that Honda has devilishly snuck into the mix. This summer I had the privilege of riding Azzkicker "Big Bear Choppers" and quite a few of the '09 Harley Davidsons - the ride on the choppers was "choppy" at best which is why I ended up driving a variety of Harleys but I said it many times, if a Chopper styled bike had a softer ride- I'd buy it in an instant. So my question is, the Fury.... is it a comfortable ride or not even close?

Thanks Fury Owners in Advance for your Feedback, this is a concern because my Low Back is sometimes a Pain I deal with on occasion.

the ride is soft and extremely smooth. i dunno about your back but your @ass is gonna hurt cuz it's extremely hard to stop riding this thing :D i bought mine april 1 2009 and already have over 5k miles on it. (i've put 8k on my sportbike since then as well)

It handles extremely well and I have no complaints about comfort. It is my first bike, but fits me great. I'd fight you if you tried to take mine!

As delivered the ride was harsh and killing my back from all the road shock. After one day of that, I adjusted the rear shock pre-load to full soft and turned the damping down. It's a comfortable all-day ride since then.
So I guess the answer is: The ride is harsh or smooth. It's up to you how you want it.

Rides Great

:DAlley and I went to pick up her new Fury, yesterday. I got to ride it home to "break it in" since I have done all of her bikes this way. Drove it at 9/10ths
all the way home on twisty back roads and was surprised that it handled and rode smoother than my VTX1800!:) She rode it when we got home and said it is smoother and handles better than her previous VTX1300. Extremely pleased and surprised.
