UPS delivered my seat today and I installed it after work (mine came with picture instructions) and since I haven't rode the Fury in a while I figured I would take her out for a 100 mile round trip. I grabbed my helmet, jacket and boots and hit the interstate for what would be my first longer trip on the Fury. I rode to a town about 50 miles away where I planned on stopping for gas and returning home but I forgot my headphones for my iPhone so I just stopped by Wal-Mart and got some. I must say riding while listening to music is so much better than listening to wind noise. Well I decided to head back and stopped in a town about 20 miles away to get gas and then finished the ride back home. Now the problem... Before I would start getting numb-butt after about 100 miles of riding and now after 100 miles I have no problem at all. My back was sore from work when I started the trip and actually felt a little better after the trip thanks to the seat's back support. The problem is that all I want to do is ride, I cant wait till I can get some more miles on the bike, I am never going to get stuff done around the house cause I will be on the bike every spare minute I have. This is just unacceptable, I demand that C&C stop making such a great product. I am 6'5" and about 300 lbs and this seat feels amazing, don't hesitate to get one if you have been considering it. Now I need to get started on extended controls.

Did I mention that the seat looks damn good on the bike?

This is the blade pattern with black stitching, vinyl seat and it is standard foam.

Great looking seat there Big John and I can also relate to your back issues. I'm glade to hear of your new problem and I'm kinda having the same issue around my homestead nowadays. I remember a year a so back contacting Chuck at C&C seat inquiring about a solo seat for the Fury. I pleaded my case to him for the fury solo seat but he was only making the two up seat at that time and selling them on ebay. He said he didn't think there would be enough interest in the solo for him to start making them. Now every time I hear of a new C&C solo seat purchase I have to wonder how Chuck feels now about our conversations and his decision change. He and a few other company's like L&M were smart enough business men to recognise, listen then act towards its audience. If only some of the other bigger company's like Kuryakyn had the same wise business sense as them we would already have some of the many aftermarket parts we want instead of the few available parts that they think we want.
Great looking seat there Big John and happy riding to ya!

Woodenhorse, ya' see this?

I've been tryin' to tell Woodenhorse, but he just won't pull the trigger on this deal. This seat definitely makes a difference.

Congrats, BigJohn. I know I love my C&C seat. I can actually ride the damn bike now.

I'm listening, problem is, the seat I want costs beaucoup bucks and I'm not totally certain that I should get the leather as I'm afraid it might stretch in this extreme heat/humidity with my fat butt. Any leather C&C seat owners want to chime in and let me know if the leather is thick and holds up well????

I certainlly think the leather looks a lot better, but since I'm lazy, I got the no maintenance vinyl.

I agree go with the vinyl. There are a lot more overall advantages to go with the vinyl and if you ask Chuck at C&C I think he would surprise you and agree.

Big John's seat looks good. Dave, you and Tony are most likely right, as usual.....leather is more costly, more maintenance, more apt to lose shape....but it sure looks good. :) I wonder if he does a vinyl with some leather inlay? I've seen the leather inlay (flames) on his examples, but I believe they are all leather seats, correct? Anybody out there have any vinyl with leather combo?

They wanted to make sure that your head would fit in that full face helmet you got since your not into putting a shield on the bike lol.

Bob, If you got your mind set on leather there are vinyl materials available nowadays that give a look of leather and are half the cost. That might be an option for ya to check out but whatever you decide on get your ass on a C&C seat soon. Good Luck!

Steveo hasn't convinced me it's a good buy yet! I'm not even sure if he's even been on his bike over 100 miles at one time since he got that seat!!! The faux leather vinyl gator might be an option....wonder if C&C has any?

Pretty sure I saw some when I went to their business?... But, could be wrong as I can't tell the different honestly between good leather and good vinyl...
