I guess as part of the Caltrans-CHP motorcycle awareness campaign, a statewide effort to improve safety for motorcyclists they have been posting this alert on the freeways..:)

California statistics:(
In 2008, there were 529 killed and 11,764 injured on California roads.
Compare that with 200 deaths and 6,330 injuries in 1998.

Yea, saw that down here in San Diego too... made me smile when I first saw it, till I had to swerve to miss the person cutting across the lanes... But, least they are trying... nice pic though, need to remember to carry my camera with me more often.

For taking pictures while riding?!?!?! they need to do this through the US though. Read my post about trying to get filled up with gas. I think they should have laws in effect almost like school busses have for motorcycles. Most people just see the signs and are like Ohh and do nothing more, or they have an attitude so ill just run them over
