Any current or previous vtx 1300 owners out there that bought a furry?Does that cam that Honda says they changed for the fury sound any different as far as a more lumpy idle or is it fairly close to the old carburated motor?
Thanks

The Honda rep told me all of that, then I got the shop manual and it had the exact same specs, now I have the fische and the cams ARE the same, same p/n with the code of MEA (VTX1300), it seems to run the same as my VTX

There is no lumpy idle :-(

I would pay to have a switch that slows the ignition down so much that the motor would have a lumpy idle. Doesn't have to be usable (like if you tried to start moving from the super slow idle, but bike would stall out) I'd just flip the switch when I want it to have that sound, then flip it back to normal when it's time to go :-0

Definetly false advertising in my book.Waiting for my S.E. to come in and was hoping it would sound a little more aggressive than my VTX-C.
Thanks for the specs.
