Anyone get a C&C seat with cardinal red thread stitching? If so, can you post up pics?

Thanks,
Bob

Geez Louise! By the time you get ready to order a seat, it'll be time to trade in your bike. :p I thought I was slow at making decisions. ;)

ROTFL... funny and true all at the same time... you better impress with this seat WoodenHorse... :p Better be made out of gold by the time you get done...

It ain't me, it's the wallet...as much as I want the fake gator leather, I'm afraid it will probably loose it's shape quickly and stretch or pucker where you sit.....so, I'm leaning toward the vinyl with blade stitching and would like a prominent cardinal red stitching for the blade pattern.....was hoping someone here has a pic of the seat with the cardinal thread... it'd be nice if C&C could make the whole blade pattern a deep red insert. I just want it on the driver seat portion of the 2 up fastback seat.

I hear ya'. Us poor boys gotta' wait a lot for that trickle of cash to come down.
MALAGA RED

I got the c & c seat with the malaga red thread flame stitching. My bike is the dark cherry red, and the malaga red thread is a very good match with the red fury.

Got any pics to post up of it? My bike is black. I kinda like black and red....eventually want to have my tank painted with my avatar design in a deep, dark red. Have a red decal on the rear fender....was hoping the cardinal would be a color I'd like....couldn't see any good pics on the C&C site, except for the spool of thread itself.

Bet your bike looks good.

LOL!!! I wish!:( If I could have afforded it, I would have gotten the real gator skin and had a design made for insert.....but I don't have 2 grand hanging around.....already spent 300 bucks on seat related stuff for my wife....got her the buttybuddy and she said it was too hard, then got her a memoryfoam/gel pad with imported sheeps wool covering to put on top of the buttybuddy.....she loves that, but the seat height for her is just about even with the top of the sissybar.....now I gotta spend a few hundred plus bucks on the C&C seat and find a taller sissy bar....will probably have to get the sheepskin pad thingy to slip over the taller sissybar for her to lean on....all of that and she only rides about an hour max at a time on the bike and only every other week or so....:( Only good thing is, all of the stuff for her would be removable quickly.

I thought I remembered seeing a photo of seat with red thread posted on here a while back. I also mentioned a while back that it would be nice to have one thread where everyone could post a few photos of their seat with a little general info. of the seat with type, style and costs for situations such as this and for help to others to do compression views of all seats conveniently on one post so they didn't have to try and search a hundred posts looking at seats.
Here is the pic of the thread
Thanks for the pic, it does match your bike pretty well. How do your passengers like that touring seat?

Good idea....maybe one can be done. What kind of seat do you have Dave?
I only got the touring seat cause my wife rides on very rare occasions. I got the gel, and its a great improvement over the original. I would do it again. I copied the color of the thread sample that c & c provided, enlarged it and took it our to match up with the bike before i ordered it. I was very pleased with the thread match for my red bike. On a black bike you could probably go with either red. Copy both and set them on your original seat and see which one you like best.:)

Good idea! Does the wife like the seat?
Unless you are in a hurry, I bet if you called Chuck at C&C he would be more then happy to send you a few thread samples so you can compare them.

I just got this one: Cruise Pack Suction Cup Bag / Pillion Pad For Any Harley Model With A Solo Seat ... I'll give you guy's "her" reviews when I'm done... Already 2 weeks into this paint job and I'm already tired of changing fenders when she or the boy wants to ride... lol

Dang....I'd probably scratch something on the custom painted fender if I had to keep changing it....be interested to hear her comments....my wife broke her tailbone a while back (slipped in tub) and she is "particular" about what she sits on.
