I follow the owners manual, which says inspect every 4,000 mi and replace no later than every 8,000 miles.

I change it when it looks bad when the gap to wide and there brown stain around the porcelain area.

I’m amazed at how long plugs last in cars but bikes need a much much shorter half life. I agree with the other biker check the health and condition if the plugs white without deterioration just touch up the gap if necessary and reinstall or put them into a rotating cue and throw them away as they get bad or bike performance is off. But he’ll they’re only a few bucks each except the iridium one even so not to expensive

Yes i agree that the shelf life is different with all things motorcycle compared to cars but oooh so much fun !

If you ripped on your car like you do your bike you'd replace them more often.
