Probably a stupid question but I never noticed when the factory lenses was on that the front signals stay on when the key is on just like the head light, is this normal. Also when I first installed the amber bulbs the left side turn signals both front and back blinked extremely fast until I took the bulb back out of the front and re-inserted it.

The front signals stay on as running lights from the factory. That is why you have to use dual filament bulbs in the front. The fast flashing occurs if the bulb is not seated properly. Usually just takes a few minutes messing with them to get a good connection.

It's also used to indicate that you have a bulb burnt out ;) That's why if you switch over to LED lights, you will need load resistors installed to return the blinkers to"normal" blinking. Unless, you don't mind the hyper blinkers (strobe lights) :)
