It was sold, you assume wrong, here is what I posted before "Because I ordered 1 at work and they could not get it till "late Oct", HDL had a sale last week and I ordered 1 and told parts to cancel, got 1 from HDL Friday and 1 from my parts guy Mon. I can send it back, or some one here can get it for a good price, makes no diff to me, 1 of them is going on my Fury.... I have no idea which is best, I do know that Cobra worked w/Honda techs to design it, I like all the other Cobra products I have worked with and have seen a few problems w/Power Commander, and don't know enough about the other smaller companies that are pumping stuff out for the Fury, but alot of what I see on the WWW doesn't look/sound good. This unit is the 49 state model by the way. The Cobra i put on my bike works perfectly, no trouble at all dialing it in, I saw no reason to by a PCV at 2-3 times the money for a product that is (IMO) not any better, and would require modifications to any exhaust I might add to use their auto tune.

Glad to hear it worked ourt I am running the Fi2000 and couldnt be happier. I have ridden other Fury’s with the pcv and don’t see any improvement. In fact, I think my bike may even run a little better. It probably has more to do with the other bikes mods (air cleaner) than the Fi2000 or pcv.

I agree, the biggest reason I even put one on before mounting new pipes was to cure the cold idle problem I was having, after talking to the Honda Techline about it, they recommended it to me because Cobra had been working with Honda on the FI for "awhile", I did mention it was shitty that I had to go to a aftermarket part to get a brand new bike to run well.

I'm running the Cobra too and love it despite the shop that does my work telling me the PC5 is better. If any of you have tried the power commander I'd love to hear your opinions of it versus the cobra.
Most shops are going to recommend what they are familiar with , or the one they can make the most money off of, if you look at some of the dyno results floating around here there isn't much differrance in the results. You are not going to get a great amount of power out of this engine no matter which you choose. Most will install and play with it for a week or two and forget it is even in there. I personally got a fuel manager for the cold idle, and to richen up my fuel mix when (if) I change pipes, it (Cobra) has worked perfectly for me.

My Fury didn't seem to run any better with the Fi2000r until one day, I decided to actually look at it myself and see if the guy at the shop actually set it right. I had them install it since they were doing my pipes anyway. The instructions said the base settings were supposed to be 1, 2, & 0 on the pots. The guy at the shop had the middle pot set to 1. I didn't think bumping it up to 2 would actually make a difference, because it was running fine the way it was, but I believe my acceleration improved a bit after I set the middle pot to 2. I wanted to try to bump it up more, but decided not to monkey with it. It seems to run great now!
