Does anyone have the Cobra rack on the fender? I was trying to get some better pics than the only one I could find which is below. Like to see a full shot of the bike with this on rather than the bad pic they offer.

Thanks,
Larry

Hey thanks man - I was able to see them in your gallery pics. I think it's pretty kool looking and different. I ordered it for mine, thanks again!

Hey so what do you carry on that rack? I am thinking about getting it for a long road trip or somewhere to put my jacket when we go from 60 degree weather to 80... 60 is about the average coldest it gets on a nice day on the coast here in SoCal but then drive inland 40 miles and it is f'en hot... do you use a roll bag or what? Just wondering if so how it handles in the wind. Thanks:cool:

Stickman - Looks good -

In the left picture of your post it looks like the mounting screws are not under the seat, can't really tell by the pic. Guess my question is can you see any of the mounting screws once its on? Thx

Gary,

It bolts up under the seat. You can barely see it in the side view.

How much clearance is there between the rack and the fender? From the picture, there doesn't seem to be enough room to hook a bungie (damn, how do you spell bungie?) cord with a plastic hook under it. That would make it useless for luggage, but it still looks nice as a decoration. Looks about the same as the Honda "Trim" piece that replaces the rear seat.

mjwojo,

I don't think a bungie cord will work unless you worked the cord itself under the rack. I plan on using straps to tie a larger bag on to it. I'm working on a sissy bar as well. The rack is not there for a decoration, I got it to work as a functional piece and I think it will do what I want it to do when I'm done...

CBFury,

While I have yet to try it, I think I will be able to strap my leather jacket and maybe a vest on the Bar Bag. It has a lot of tie down areas on it and the rain cover is oversized.
Hopefully, it will cover everything...
