Anyone get the intake, have additional pictures. I was thinking tuning would be easiest having the three upgrades (intake, computer, exhaust) all by the same maker. Cobra has two on the site but Im looking for more detail, like a straignt on, rear, above, etc... Hate buying stuff without fondling it first (that sounds bad).

Okay, the others that have bought this intake are morning crew... they are still producing them and will be receiving them within the next month... why they would sell/advertise them without an adequate stock/inventory is beyond me... probably why I didn't buy their Fuel Controller....

I purchased the intake in chrome, and have been keeping up with cobra on delivery and as of last week's phone call they are sending them out end of this week or next week to their vendors so we'll see them soon after. This first run was for preorders. So when I get it installed I'll post photos for you to fondle over

I preordered the chrome. I just called Cobra yesterday and they told me that it would probably be the end of May before they came out.

In reference to your comment about having all three Cobra products on your bike, (pipes, Fi2000r, air intake), that is also my line of thinking, so I asked them about base settings on the fuel controller to compensate for the pipes and intake. I was told that they will indeed have those settings available to make it easier for us to dial in and not have to do a lot of guessing and adjusting. Just FYI.

I don't think they, (Cobra), even really know when they're coming out. I guess the answer you get is dependent upon to whom at Cobra you are speaking. When I preordered in March, I was told they would be out by mid April.

Same here mid April, Cobra said the First run was for preorders and chrome only. Chrome is what I wanted. So now we wait.

Even though i havent ordered yet, maybe i should call and rattle some cages. See this is what pisses me off with companies and vendors. I have had this issue in the gun/AR-15 market for a while. I understand getting prototypes out there for people to see and get them excited about your company and products, but if you cant give an honest set in stone release date....DONT. And with vendors dont list shit on your site without it being in stock. Here is a great idea, have a visible count for us buyers to see if you have it in stock and how many. I have resorted to only purchasing from websites that have a visisble inventory or call the vendor and ask before ordering. With all the wonders computers can do, I'm sure this cant be that hard to add to the webpage....vendors are you listening or just dont give a shit (sorry for the rant at the end).

Atleast your marketing department does. Hey Cobra, what else are you selling that you don't have? How about a 20% discount for being full of it?

Someone had posted here just the other day that there is a Honda dealer in AZ with a couple sets of black swepts in stock.

That's kinda' what I was thinking. They didn't want to mass produce the product until they were sure they could sell it. Now that they have enough "preorders", they are finally producing them. Can't blame them, I guess, but I will sure be glad when mine finally arrives.

I am not sure what you guys payed but I was bitching a the parts guy at the dealership (more like crying) and I got the intake for $205 even?
Now I am going to get him to lower the price even more on my pipes.
He says may 28th for both.
If there not in on that day he is going to come down more or I am going another route.

well folks, it's May 28th, and no PowerFlo in sight. used my spare $$ I'd stashed away for the air cleaner and paid for a very nice C&C seat, thank you very much. The PF can wait a few months! I would rather have a happy butt than a heavy breathing engine, at this point. We run nice day trips to the Keys on the weekends, so, the butt must be a happy butt if I have my druthers!
