Ok, so I have had the original Accutronix intake adaptor on my bike for a few months now. I was concerned with the amount of movement and did not want to damage the rubber boots that hold the throttle body together. I ended up buying the L&M adaptor because I liked the way it covered the electronics on the top of the throttle body. Of course I decided to do this just before Accutronix came out with their updated adaptor that has a lower support, but I didn't want to wait for their top cover to come out anyway.

When installing the L&M adaptor, I was concerned that the spike intake screws right to the fiberglass. I ended up using the back ring off of the Accutronix adaptor (that has the three threaded holes in it) behind the L&M adaptor to secure the spike intake to the bike.

All in all, it came out really nice. The intake is now rock solid and sealed up very well with the D&M gasket and the stock intake gasket. Surprisingly, everything fit together and you can't tell that I did anything different with it.

The L&M adaptor retains the stock function. If you take apart the stock intake, you will see that the lines connect behind the filter. The L&M filter does the same thing with the small filters on the vacuum lines. Their small filters have rings on them that I ran zip ties through to secure them where I wanted them.
