Does any one out there make the covers for the battary and fuse box that are not made of plastic i snaped of the pegs on both covers, but do not want to spend 200.00 dollars on new ones made the same way

Not that i have ever seen, but if the plastic are 200 i would think anything made of metal will be more expensive.

I have been looking for metal covers as well. No one has them.
But every once in a while some plastic covers go up for sale on Ebay.

I spent hours looking on the internet for a set of metal covers. I really don't think that they exist (yet).

$200 doesn't sound bad for both of the originals. Metal ones would have to be a lot more than $100 each.

Anybody ever seen a metal peg that would pop in the hole? It could be done if you could find that part.

Ya i dont mind the mony , i just dont want some more plastic junk that will break again,

A small brake and some welding and they would be easy to make, would cost more to chrome than fab.
