Hi Everyone:
Even though I researched the removal of my stock grips and tired to be especially careful, I still managed to crack and eventually break the throttle sleeve while removing it from the stock grip. Murphy's Law working at it's finest, I guess. Am hoping to install a pair of ISO grips.
Anyway, I'm wondering if anyone knows where I can purchase just the throttle tube/sleeve, as Honda wants to sell the entire right grip. That would mean I'd have to chance seperating the tube from the grip again! Given my recent experience, I'd like to try to avoid that.
Up here in Canada, Honda is charging $68.00 plus tax for the grip, without the cap! I see the same product advertized on some US direct buy sights for as little as $22.95. Unfortunately shipping and Duty expenses bring the darn thing close to what I have to pay here in Canada. I'm hoping a $6.00 throttle sleeve exists out there somewhere?
It's snowing up here in north central Alberta, so I've still got some time. Thanks.

Have you checked AVON?

With my grips the throttle tube is part of the grip. I think AVON Grips may have what you are looking for.

$119.95 for a billet set of Accutronix grips made in Phoenix Arizona USA is not a bad price considering Honda’s little plastic thingie is $68.00
