Here's a few shots of a Devils tongue air intake on our Honda Fury. These air cleaners come from SC Mirror Stainless<br> Velocity Stack
Here's a few images with the Mayhem pipes and the LM intake adapter. You guys into this stuff? Would you pay $469 for this intake?

I considered these a couple of times when I was looking at the intakes... still might order some in the future... I like the curves of them... we'll have to see after I get all the stuff I envision done first, then I'll start to over accessorize... lol

I would not pay $469.00 for the intake. Because without previously owning the adapter you have to add in the extra $200-$300 (depending on finish + shipping) then you're looking at a whopping $800 for the intake and adapter. Sounds a little steep to me. I didn't pay that much for my exhaust and that's a whole lot more chrome.

Chris, can you clarify for me. Are we talking $469 for the complete set up with adapter and air filter or are we talking $469 for the air filter and another $300 for the chrome adapter kit?

yeah that's definitely overpriced if it's just $469 just for the intake, but if that includes the adapter, which I doubt, then that's a good deal, I'll stick to my spike.

Ya'll think that's expensive... I've been eye'ing these ever since I've had a Fury... Just can't bring myself to drop the hammer anytime within the next 5 years... lol...

In the style L&M proposed though, think I like the Apocalypse better...:

air cleaners

just my thought you can only get so much air into the motor before it goes lean then pipes start to blue. some one or should I say company needs to come up with a package deal IE pipes , air claener , and programer with the best test results on a dino also keep in mind on a dino you are not running 70 mph down the road . My point at 70 mph how much air are we forcing into the eng if too much then we have a lean condition .

That price is just for the Air filter not the adapter. The price is high, but not more than a D&M filter at $485. RedSpawn, I like that design too, but you would not want that when it rains, cause your done. Then again it doesn't rain in San Diego.

I would actually try and face it forward if anything... doesn't have to be up, just presented that way as far as I know... I haven't really studied the mounting adapter on it yet to figure out if that would work facing forward or not, especially with the weight...

I figured it was just for the intake, and you are right it's no more over priced than the D&M spikes, but that's why I didn't go with a D&M either, can't see dropping that much money for an intake and adapter, but that's just me, I'm sure someone will buy it. It's definitely something different than everything else I have seen around, so it's good for someone to have another option. Seen the double spike intake also but they don't appeal to me personally.
