Today I received a survey from Honda about ownership of the new Fury. It was from Ray Blank who is the Senior Vice President for American Honda Corp. This might have been the first survey I ever bothered to take as it was kind of kool to answer most of the questions with an "excellent" rating as I truly feel extremely satisfied with my purchase of the Fury.
The funniest part though was when I opened the survey, there was a crisp one dollar bill. How kool is that? Be on the lookout for your survey and $1 bill.

Take care all.

I thought about filling it out, but then I got bored reading through it. Then I thought, hey, these people are trying to bribe me with a lousy dollar? By the time I pay off my loan, I will have paid Honda tens of thousands of dollars for this machine. I love the bike, but I threw the survey in the trash. I guess I have a bad attitude, huh?

Filled mine out. Honda took a big big gamble putting out this machine in such a bad bad economic climate. I wanted them to know how much I like it and that they didn't make a mistake here.

The only things that didn't get great marks from me were:
The shifting action of the transmission (typical Honda: not smooth)
Color choice (where's my bright metallic Orange with big flakes ?)

(laughing) Yeah, that good old Honda transmission. That's funny. The bike is awesome, but like you said, "typical Honda: not smooth". It's been so long since I've owned a bike, I had to relearn how to shift the thing. I have found that if you come to a stop but dropped to neutral instead of all the way into first, you may have to double clutch to get it into gear...not every time, but sometimes. Also, the other day I was flyin' down the highway and the thing popped out of 5th and stayed in between gears until I shifted back up. Only time that happened. May have been my fault.
