Cool story, I didn't know about the Jesse James connection, did know about welds however, nobody notices them at many a bike nite, at least out loud to me, nobody except a fury owner knows my bike is a Honda.......ancient japanese secret I tell them......lol

There are some threads out there that indicate that Jesse James either designed or had a hand in designing the Honda Fury. Does anyone know if this is true?

Mine has the bullet marker insignia so I believe it is true.

It was the mid 2000's so my memory is a little bit jaded, but Jesse James's signature was the bullet cap and my bike has that very same bullet cap. It's where I insert my key to lock the forks. I could be wrong, but why else would it look like the firing end of a bullet where I insert my key?

I read the Fury was designed by Honda's SoCal design team and then sent to Japan to make it work. I think this is the most likely as other Japanese manufacturers do it with cars. My 1993/1994 Nissan 300ZX series 2 was designed in SoCal and then sent to Japan for the engineers to make it all work.
