Don't know enough to know?

I was wondering by putting on my new exhaust (cobra) and Barons big air and everything else that goes with it all will it hurt my bike because it is not broken in yet?
I only got 498 miles on it. The dealer says it makes no difference but I know they are hurtin for cash.
They were matching the price I was finding on line (even ebay) for after market parts and now there beating the price by 5%. Not sure if I trust them.

Don't know about the rest but my bike was never even started with stock pipes, during dealer prep i had them install cobras
Doesn't matter, race motors never have stock exhaust niether do my sport bikes...
You said your putting aftermarket exhaust and air cleaner but you didn't say anything about a fuel controller, with both of those things your going to need a fuel controller to ensure that it runs right, but nothing should get damaged from running aftermarket parts with the bike being new, quite a few people around here have done that same thing when first getting the bike.
Yes,
fuel controller also.
I also asked the Honda parts guy about getting the best fuel controller and he said "don't waste your money on a fancy fuel controller, They all do the exact same thing."
I have no idea if they do or not. I am just relaying the message.
well it all just depends on who you ask is what type of answer you'll get about what the best fuel controller is, so from what I have read you just get the one that you can afford, which is what you did, that's what I'm going to do when I get mine, which will probably be a cobra or fuggin. back to the original question of yours, I think your fine and no damage will come from anything that you have done because others have done the same thing and no damage has come of it.

Get a Cobra Fi2000, set it to 1-2-1, plug the PAIR Valve, and you're good to go!

Cheers
