Anyone ever try one of the Drag specialities seats? I saw some on sale but was wanting opinions before I consider buying. Thanks

It would help if you can post a photo of the seat and some information. Drag are a parts house so the seat could be anything. The brands we know who do a Fury seat are C&C, Corbin, Mustang & Danny Gray. Low and Mean do a blank seat pan. That's about all I can think of.

I went ahead and ordered it. They only had a couple on hand and I could always return it if I hated it.

Heck of a price, what's the worst that could happen.

True... but at least it would look better.
Great price. I see the same part # listed as "parts unlimited" Solo Seat w/ EZ On System on the web.

I wonder if I could just use some sort of dye to change the stitching color to black.
The stock seat should have all theses features!
Solar-reflective leather in the seating area and automotive-grade vinyl on the sides; patented process reduces surface temperature by as much as 25 degrees F for a cooler seat, higher durability and longer life over conventional leather or vinyl
Low-profile design with molded flexible urethane foam interior for maximum comfort and styling
3/16 in. ABS thermoformed seat base for a perfect fit, and fully carpeted bottom with rubber bumpers to protect paint
Lowers and improves seating position
Seat features EZ on system, after final installation, no tools needed for installing and removing the seat
Only 2 left :crying:

Not the only one. I have ridden mine from a full tank to empty more than once. By the time I need fuel, I am ready for a break. The seat doesn't bother me in the least.

What is the longest one day ride you have done on the stock seat?
I'll admit it feels more comfortable than my C&C on a quick sit test but after 50 miles my but hurts. I get 500 no pain miles on my C&C :skellie:

That's awesome. I can only get about 150 miles on one tank of fuel.

The solution is in the seat or the butt. You guys must be anatomical exceptions and need to post pics of your butt :skellie:

Maybe it's ones BMI that matters. I can ride the "stock" seat all day without problems. My BMI is 23.
In my opinion there are three things wrong with the stock seat. For comfort there is that seam right where your thigh rests, creating a pressure point left and right.
As far as looks go, the seat hides too much tank and too little tank mounting bolt. They really missed the styling boat there.
Everything is taken care of in my modified "stock" seat.

For me the issue is never the butt, it's my back. Doesn't matter at work, riding, driving, home, I can't do any one thing too long. I need to mix it up, walk some, sit some etc.

I'm at a BMI of 25.

147 miles, 6 hours, puttering through glacier country (pic attached). One tank no reserve, really worried the light wasn't working. Turns out it was just sippin'. Always impressed when filling up, just takes $5 or so, not like the car. Then again, have to fill up every 23 miles...:surprise:

Quite funny. I actually have been knighted, and will have to share that bit of humor.

I really like the look of stock, hoping someone tosses me a stock passenger pillion someday. The OEM driver's seat isn't comfortable like a Harley seat, but works, and for the looks I'm happy with it. Put on a C&C SportTour, it's "okay." Feels smaller and somewhat more comfortable, but still like the looks of stock better, and already used to the stock feel,

BMI 22, "fat" butt is all muscle, so that may be the saving grace. Haven't noticed the seams, but have been wearing mostly cold weather gear in 32°-42°F temps.

Funny you should mention that. I rode for two years on the stock seat and would wonder what all the fuss was about on the forums about people finding it uncomfortable.

Then one day I bought a Danny Gray solo for the looks. And it was like "ooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooohhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh now I get it...."
