Had these pipes on with the fi2000 for about 2 months now I suppose and have been meaning to ask this. Do anyone else's pipes drag on a turn before the footpeg feelers do? My first ride out with them the pipes hit the ground so hard my bike actually shifted a bit. (scared the hell out of me!! haha) Anyone else have this problem??

Yes I have the same issue with my Cobra sept pipes.

I just picked up my Fury 2 days ago. I have already dragged the left footpeg feeler in left turns and and the Cobra pipes in right-hand turns. Comming off a sport bike, I guess I just need to learn to not lean so much in the corners.

I was going to ask boofarn if coming off a sports bike and used to leaning.

I think I only hit the left foot peg feeler once, but it was a nasty sharp left turn down a hill.

Nope..coming off a little Vulcan 500 (first bike) I think bad things would happen if I rode a sports bike! lol The bike just handles and leans so well I guess i'm just forgetting it's a chopper sometimes. Hate the scratches on my pipes..although you can't really see them since they're on the bottom. Guess I just need to take it a little easier.

i have the zombie and the factory is lower.
well i have the stock pegs and the feelers are bent completely horizontal to the pegs on both sides. i have the fuggin mayhems so the pipes don't drag but even with the stock exhaust, the pipes never dragged. i'm sure they were darn close a few times.

Tried to go around a speed bump for once (I usually go over it, as I thought I'd scrap.. and sure enough)... went around on the left side as the right does not have any room to go round it... Scrapped the front of my new pipes the 2nd day I had it... Uggg, least it's at the bottom... it's at the front where I scrapped it too, not the back... but I feel your pain

Ouch! Sorry to hear that. That's the way I felt...the "new" hadn't even worn off yet!
