Well guys, I've been pretty well silent over the past month. Busy with painting and finally took a week to airbrush my own Fury.

It was hard to decide what to do with a RED FRAME! (Should have got Black) I didn't want to completely paint the red off and leave no transition to the frame so after a couple of hours of thought, I just got to work.

I liked the 'joker' theme but didn't want to get too 'busy' in the work. So I followed the KISS principle (keep it simple stupid) and I seem to like it.

I started with a picture of the "Joker" and wanted it to kind of protrude out of the tank. It all just went from there. I didn't want a lot of graphics on the fenders but at the last minute I just 'cartooned' the eyes, nose and mouth of a joker blended into the airbrushed background. I did not want that part to look detailed at all but simply the soul of the Joker.

The skins were used (front was blue, back was matte silver and the tank was bright silver) and needed prep and repaint to match my red. I stored all my original skins.

All the paint for graphics is Auto Air Waterborne with 2021 Clear to finish. ALL IS HAND DONE AIRBRUSHING! No decals...period. Used my Sata touch up gun to paint the red. The Joker is on each side of the tank and they look very close to the same. Hard to paint two of anything the same but by cutting masks and painting both at the same time, it didn't turn out too bad. I notice a few differences but most don't.

Later I will get busy and replace turn signals front reflectors the rest of the stickers etc. etc. etc. and call her done.

Enjoy.

Ned to get rid o those reflectors and fr./rear lighting & some new pegs. ;-) great concept tho, u going to go with l&M's front fender or sticking win that one?... as you are the "painter", doesn't cost you anything to repaint it cept materials... anyways, awesome pics!!!

Very nice job on the paint. Not my taste, but the details in the Jokers face with the wrinkle lines in his fore head .. really nice.

Where did you end up getting the extra skins from? I have looked all over the net, but cant find any.

Now lets talk about the BFG All Terrian in the back ground. You think SUMO can get that to fit?:D

Painter that looks bad ass and like everyone else said you have some serious talent, your bike is truly one of a kind with that custom artwork you did, hmmm your not that far from TN lol. You should know that by displaying this bad ass artwork that your going to have offers to do some painting, do you have a shop or just do this on the side as a hobby? Thanks for making me jealous lol.

Thanks guys for the compliments. Been "Mother's Daying" yesterday. Rode 200 miles down to be with my Mom and sentiments to all you Mothers out there!

Ok. To answer some of your questions. The key mod was the right endcap off of the original throttle grip. Cut down the key and inserted in JB Weld. Not my idea but someone here on the forum. Love it!

The tank was the hardest and longest time to paint. Yes, I have a shop but don't use the forum for business. Not appropriate. I don't advertise but am booked usually a year in advance. PM's I will answer and I NEVER charge enough!

I have painted several Furys but have 3 Harley sets, 1 Yamaha set and a Fury waiting for paint right now. Usually takes a week to 10 days to paint a custom set but sometimes longer if really detailed. I work best when given an 'idea' and let me run with it or detailed pictures for and exact replication. I paint new dealer bikes locally as well.

Again, thanks for the comments. Talent abounds here on the Forum and I appreciate all the great ideas and talent I have discovered here.
