Got the 4in extensions in this morning, have to say it took a lot longer cleaning up the finger prints than it did putting them in

Well you nailed it 👍 I have the Corbin k&q on the way … finally Ginz got back to me & im ordering a sissy & mounts

So your Ginz bar & mounts angle lined up nicely with the Corbin seat angle or did you need to mod them ?

You will probably need to shift the sissy bar mounts back a little to line up with the rear of the K & Q seat. Compare the two positions of the sissy bar and you will see that my sissy bar is further forward.

He's right with moving the mounts back from the templates they give you. I gave myself about 1in spacing between the bar and the seat. Then had a bracket fabricated that mounts to the bar and attaches to the top bolt of the seat. I figured out that the taller the bar is, the more weight that's at the tip of the bar. Made it easy for the bar to move around and smack the back of the seat while riding. So had the bracket made.

Ahh yeah good idea. That’s the 25” Scorpion I’d assume them ?

Just looks like a fury should 👍

My sissy bar is 20" old school hard core and no problem with vibration when riding and as far as I know there is no problem with the 25" version either, however there is no bend at the top with the style I have so less mass to move around. Better to be on the safe side though and add some reinforcing.

yeah mines the 25, the bend at the top with the point actually has some weight to it. Probably would of been fine if it was straight. But the bracket i had made has the same diamond shape that on the back of the seat. so matches pretty darn good.

Gotta watch mr plod here with pointy bits hey. One followed 3 feet behind me on my 1800 on the freeway last summer on his unmarked black stealth ‘busa. Guess he didn’t think I could see his blue lights, radio helmet, white tail box, gun, hand cuffs, mace & sundry hanging off it. I got the 100kph rolling lic check, db check & inspection. The bloody speed he left at though !!! Good to have a bike like that & never being able to get a ticket

Yeah they love to get you for pointy bits. I got pulled over for random breath testing and the cop was looking my bike over. I thought I was done for the spike air cleaner but he just shoved a rod up my exhaust and hit the baffle because he thought my bike was a bit loud. Then he asked if my muffler was stock and I said " yes it's a genuine Honda muffler" and pointed to the Honda stamped on the muffler itself. Which is true it is a stock Honda muffler, just not an AU/EU/UK one. He looked a bit bummed he couldn't give me a ticket, but I got off.

I run an hour a day & I did the old ‘no walk sign’ bolt.. I’d seen the bike cop sitting at the lights. I had ear phones in & I heard the siren but kept going at full tilt & I can run a bit.. he put his 1300 yammy up onto the footpath & I took off 90 degrees into a mall .. I saw him take another footpath & start to ride into the friggin mall !! I backtracked 🤣 ..prick still got me $53. I see nsw has a sissy height rule yet not in qld but we have the same no stabbie point sissy bar rule.

I'm quite sure someone from down under will argue this point but...WTF???? I suppose the assumption of innocence has no place in a civilized society.
