Has any one removed the excess engine sealant that's on some parts of the engine and if so what's the best way or should it be left alone... Sorry if this has been asked already or just a plain ole stupid question...
Honda uses a silicone seal on some parts, what you see is excess that has been squished out, pulling on it can tear and pull out from the joint and could leak, if you must remove it shave it off carefully. I have done that successfully on many bikes.
