Well going to see if can get some pics up on this thread . Finnaly got exhaust, what an ordeal from starting order to finally installed. Ordered from Metric Thunder, have to give them props, first was going to do Cobra Swepts chrome, wanted black but not enough$ in budget, anyway, they called about an hour after ordering online, "out of stock" and not going to be in soon, so he offered to do Samson Hellraisers for same price (were priced $100 more than cobra) said ok , while still on phone Samson calls him back and say they are out of warlords chrome, so all in all got Black warlords for original price of cobra chrome. gotta luv fate sometimes. Hope pics come through. Also added pic of key idea I was messing around with came out ok IMHO and shot of side covers after paint. Trying to get ready for run next weekend. Hope all keep the rubber side down!

Sweet... welcome to the Warlord club... they sound better than Cobra's... you did good... ;) Trust me, you can do no wrong, they sound and look better... you'll realize that after you meet up with a cobra lover... :p Interesting key ring btw...

Just whenever you get a chance, could you get a side picture? It's either these or the black swepts for me...I think I like these better because there's not such a drastic curve like the swepts have. Hopefully I'll be getting these sometime next month! :D

Did you leave the baffles in or did you take them out?

The side covers and other plastic parts painted black looks really good. I was wondering about doing this and I think this sold me on it. Something I did the other day that I recommend is painting the kickstand black...something small that I think makes a difference. Bikes looking good!

Do you have any better pictures of the exhaust? Possibly full profile?

And Red, did you take the baffles out of yours?
I did... it sounded weird, kind of like a Harley... so I put them back in... It was louder, bout 2 or 3db louder, but on the decel... sounded like a rump a thump thump... never did like that straight Harley pipe sound, and that's what it sounded like.... With the baffles in, it has a nice purr to it honestly... So, I'll keep them in.... Maybe buy some fuggin's for some extra straight pipes or something...

Suggest getting some Morton's or some Fuggin's and go with that if you want loud (Straight pipes are the only thing louder than Samson's)... The Samson's are pretty loud as they are with baffle's in them, but not as loud as those Morton's or Fuggin's....

Yeah I have been trying to figure out how to talk my wife into letting me go ahead and get my Samsons but she has this dang thing about having the money before I spend it. Gotta come up with something she wants and use it as leverage. For my first bike it was boobs, for my fury it was a Armada, hmmmm what can I exchange for pipes??

I like the key. I got a Maltese cross key from "custom motorcycle key blanks"
I to was thinking of painting the covers black. After seeing yours I think i gotta do it.
Besides the sound what is the difference between warlords and cobras? I never bothered to look at the warlords. I don't see any difference in the pipes on your bike in the photo and my black swept (that are to quite)pipes?
Do they look the same?

the samson's sweep lower away from the passenger pegs than the cobra's (which is why I bought mine), also the ends of them are different, where as the cobra's are angled down as far as their slash is concerned, with more of a point to them and the samson's are angled towards the user and are straighter and have less of an exact point, compared to cobra's at least....

Do a gallery search or pic search of pictures, I have samson Warlords, and there are plenty of cobra's to compare them too... I have a ton of pics in my profile and also in the gallery to help you out...
