Hi all,
I'm in Australia, Geraldton WA, and have been reading this forum for months now and have gained an immense amount of knowledge from the different threads. Bought a new Fury in January and have been busy modifying it ever since.

Ordered the Cobra pipes, Fi2000, Accutronics air adapter and a Spike Air intake before I took delivery of the bike.

Fitting the Cobras turned into an 8 hr headache. The main problem down under is that all Fury's come standard with ABS brakes, wish they were an option as the extra pipe work is an eye sore. Just getting the original exhaust bracket off the bike was a nightmare as the ABS ECU is mounted right at the base of the swing arm and blocks the mounts extraction. Finally managed to get it out by having a huge friend sit on the bike and compress the suspension and with a lot of twisting and pulling it came out.

Next was mounting the new Cobra bracket, guess what? it fouled the ABS brake line #$&@*. Out with the angle grinder and grind 90% of the bracket away just behind the lower mounting point. Welded a gusset in across the top of this section and repainted the mount. Stronger than original now. We also have O2 sensors, soldered in 330ohm resistors across the white wires to bypass these, worked sweet.

Cobras on and sound great, baffles in, police are starting to crack down on loud bikes over here.

Anyway, back to the main topic, I have just ordered a pair of LED rear blinkers off Ebay and was wondering if the Fury's FLASHER RELAY was a separate item and if I could replace it with a solid state unit that will operate correctly regardless of load ? and, Where is the relay located ?
Cheers GUY

Get a Kuryakyn Load EQ

Hey all Down Under,
I would suggest pulling SEAT and mount load Eq under neath like Clueless did.
It so hard to hide stuff, I used the area by the battery for my remote control ground effects/ lights box. So its the only place to start from really!
I have L.E.D. turn signals in rear from Headwinds and put in the load EQ wired it wrong or need to ground 1 for each light needless to say I pulled the Load eq only one light was slow flashing.

there is no room to mount under fender so you nee to pull seat for sure to keep dry!
Kuryakyn Load EQ you will need two if you change out front signals!

Good luck!

actually I did away with the load equalizers and put in the one tony fury linked to, the stock one is under the seat , to the right of the shock, plugs right in. not a good pic but it is here, there are a couple of extra wires and additional flasher (round one) for my 4 way flashers.

Thanks for all the feedback. I have located the Flasher Unit thanks to CLUELESS and his photo.

I will be purchasing a LED flasher unit, plug & play looks the way to go from Big Bike Parts as suggested by Tony Fury. If you want to run a mix of LED & Incadescent bulbs then the Narva LED Flasher unit will work up to 30W per side.

Thanks again.
