Some ask why, I ask why not. This must be obvious to everyone else but me but when and why would you want to fold it.
A small company named Harley Davidson (OMG on a Honda), about $175, modified with a dremel and bolted to the frame. Has a LED light already on it, so about the same/ a little less than other side mounts.Who makes the mount, cost, and how is it mounted?
Dumb question, Gar; posed by someone who has, obviously, never been to a drive-through carwash. LOL.This must be obvious to everyone else but me but when and why would you want to fold it.
oh snap!Dumb question, Gar; posed by someone who has, obviously, never been to a drive-through carwash. LOL.

Oooooooooooh! I WANT one of these bike washers! I'll pay, I'll pay; no price is too high! Does she also do windows?
Let's see.......the last time I "traded-up" for one of these, it cost me half of everything I owned! And she still didn't do windows! LOL.Not sure about windows, but it looks like she'll do a fine job on your undercarriage.
Whoa! A little testy, aren't we? Lost your sense of humor?WTFO, why do some people feel the need to hijack every thread on here with off topic dumb azzed banter ?
Yea... saw that when I was shopping for a bike before I bought the Fury... Thought it was a good idea... think that's what drew me to a side mounted plate in the first place... Anyways, kudos... looks good. Some ask why, I ask why not.![]()
It looks cleaner and not in the way when parked. And not every swingin harry has it.

I seem to always be bringing this up, but as a police officer and a rider, I hate to see others get into trouble for ignorance. Folding licence plate holders are illegal in many states. The police seem to believe that they are only there to hide the numbers when you do not stop and attempt to elude them. Many officers don't know the equipment regulations and some that do, don't care whether your plate folds, however there is always that ONE. Personally, I don't see the need to move it, but we all have our own tastes. That's one of the things that make motorcycling fun.
Really ?Someone should tell Harley...The stock V-Rod plate folds up.

Thank you for pointing out my ignorance.I seem to always be bringing this up, but as a police officer and a rider, I hate to see others get into trouble for ignorance. Folding licence plate holders are illegal in many states.
Yes it is, HD also uses it on the Nightster, I doubt anyone can tell it folds unless you drive off with it folded. That's the mount from the V rod isn't it? Odd how I got stopped 3 times for the plate being under the fender on my CBR but a Harley can sell a folding hiding plate factory with no issues. WTF
if i had one of them,i would ride through the mud every day.lol
