Good evening. I have been staring endlessly at the "Furious" concept and I decided I wanted to order some clip on handlebars. I know the seating position will be terrible, I want it anyway. I was lurking the forum in fork tube size and it seemed the answer was 45mm. Then I saw 49mm. So I pulled out a caliper and measured the upper area of the forks and I got 54mm! I was wondering what the correct sizing for the fork tube would be to order the correct size clip ons??

U don’t think that riding position is going to be uncomfortable?

I do think it'll get uncomfortable for long rides. Its my first bike and I have been wanting to make it mine. I already got a gsxr1000 for longer trips and I live in town so commute isn't really an issue. Ill never know if I really love it until I do it. Also, I measured today. Reading 44.88mm so that rounds up to 45mm?

Good luck finding a set of 45MM clip ons. Not sure if they are made in that size. You may have to have a set made.

That a cool look. Did you want to mount the speedometer on the top tree clamp or on the side of the bike?

For now I wrapped and tucked the speedo harness under the gas tank. I'll order the slk customs relocator later this week. I was considering ordering a handlebar mount or even custom ordering a triple tree topper that has indicator lights and speedo built in. Haven't decided yet, cost is comparable.
