I was looking at my bike last night while over at my Brothers for the 4th. And we were looking at his HOG and my Fury and got to talking about Forward Controls for my bike.

The Right Peg Bracket can just be mirrored with ease mounting forward, the left would not be bad either. Just make the same bracket basically but with a little more meat forward perhaps tracing the right brackets design. It would keep the Stock look but be kicked out almost perfect for me. Only issue would be the Shifter and Brake :/

Any thoughts and or ideas?

DeadSpider,
When I designed the Accutronix forward controls for the FURY, I wanted to also offer a +3” Extension plate to move the stock controls forward. However, because of the way the brake arm mounted, I could not come up with a clean, safe, logical way to make such an item. The shift linkage would also need to be lengthened but that is no big deal. I am not saying it cannot be done, I am saying in the time allowed, nothing looked promising.

Quick ?

We have a lot of options already. Chrome is flashy & most expensive, polished is slightly less flashy on some bikes and less expensive than chrome. Raw billet aluminum is also an option & the least expensive. You can then scotch brite the raw aluminum controls to get an industrial look. That is the finish that Russell Mitchell of exile cycles uses :: e x i l e ::

Is any of this helpful?
