Does any one know if the front & rear brake calipers are the same on the Fury as the VTX 1300 C...?
The spec's appear the same. 336 mm twin piston front, and 296 mm single piston rear.

The reason I ask, is Kuryakyn makes chrome caliper covers for the VTX 1300 and wondering if they would work on the Fury.

Let me know
Thanks

Kuryakyn Front Caliper Cover - Honda VTX1300 C for Honda VTX 1300 C RTI01

I was wondering the same thing myself and was thinking about making a purchase for the rear one just to try it. I used a show chrome cover that I had hanging around the garage off a VTX and it fit ok and looks great but I need something for the rear. The ones listed for VTX 1300 do look like they might fit.

I sent my calipers off and had them chromed, cost a little more but if you have the downtime it's worth it. Make sure you buy new seals and everything for the inside of them though.
Downtime is the problem, I have withdrawals if I can't ride it everyday..

I did but I deleted it, got out to the garage and realized I can't compare my bikes because I did a Foots mod to my 1300 and don't have the 1300 caliper anymore . I will take a look at them at work today.

Chroming out the caliper is always a good option but I prefer the chrome covers. I think it hides the caliper assembly better and looks a little cleaner. It also holds down the brake dust and a lot easier to clean off a cover than all the nookes and crannies of the cailper itself. I just need to find a cover to fit the rear one that will fit or can be modified to fit. I have noticed a lot of brake dust off these pads seems to be more than any other bike I owned . Anyone have any information for a harder metalic pad for replacement of these. It might be me but these pads appear to be softer with a lot more brake dust apearing on the wheels after each ride. Maybe I have noticed it more since I had the wheels chromed. Any one else see the same thing? Dave

They look to be the same size physically, and the banjo bolts etc look about the same, but I can't really tell if they fit. I looked in the new big Bike catalogue that has a few items for the Fury and the covers do not say that they will fit. SO, I can't help on this.

Cobra makes covers for the front and the back, but they are pricey. I just ordered them, not sure if I will like they look, will try to post pics in a week or so. I ordered them from Phat performance, specific for the Fury new item.

Hey Gary, What is the cobra part number for the rear caliper cover you ordered and is it listed to fit the fury or is it for the vtx 1300? I've got one on the front already but looking for something for the rear that has a chance of fitting. Thanks for any help. Dave
