Hi out there...thought I'd throw in some Canadain content to this forum. Just got my Fury August 19/09 from Courtenay Motorsports (Vancouver Island, BC). Now as this was a bike brought back from the states (plus Canadian dealers, at least in BC, won't be getting it until April 2010). So having that much earlier kicks ass!
Question when the low fuel light come on, roughly how much gas do you have left? (i.e. on my Jepp the light comes on with 10 litres left). Last 2 tanks I got 119miles & 124.9miles. BTW, telling me in US gallons is no biggie - I can do the math. See ya on the flip side!

Canadian dealers, at least in BC, won't be getting it until April 2010

Saw two for sale at the Nanaimo dealer a month ago but they are only sold at exclisive Honda PowerHouse dealers. There aren't many of those and none in the lower mainland. .

normal is .6 gallons

I was told when the gas light comes on you have roughly .20 gallons left! That hopefully is enough to get you to a gas station!

When I first got my Fury, as soon as the low light come on, i immediately went to get gas to see how much i had left. To my amazement, I had a little over 1 gallon left lol! On a bike run last month, I went as long as I could with it on, and when I got gas, I had gone 155 miles, and still had .3 gallons left.

I just filled mine at 112.5 miles and it took 2.7 g. to fill it up. the Light cam on at 110 miles. this is my 3rd fill up, it came on at 86 and 100 on the last 2.

My light usually comes on around 120-130 miles. What's your fuel economy like? I've been getting 48-51 mpg...

Ya, this was my 4th fill-up. the clicks on the last 3 were 115mi, 125.8 and today(Aug.31) 130.8. Now for today's fill-up I put in 10.571 litres (aka 2.79 gallons) meaning I had 0.59 gallons left in the tank still..roughly. Is it safe to say I could go about to 150miles before I completely tank out? Keeping in mind I'm not really gunning it on this bike, but it is mainly on freeway doing 60-70mi/hr. I was kinda figuring I'd get about that much without playing fire and having to show leg for some gas...lol. This is the one thing I miss most about my Shadow - easily got 280km (174mi) to a tank without even scratching the reserve! But I love the Fury and don't regret a second of it. Thanks in advance for all your help guys (and gals).

you are right .basic half or .6 gallons when light comes on.
